About

Hello there! My name is Kelvine. M, and I’ve had a lifelong passion for gardening and nature, stemming from my upbringing on a Ranch. I find joy in raising butterflies and moths from larvae, as well as creating habitats to attract them to my backyard garden.

My current interests lie in writing, photography, and the identification of living organisms. Since 2017, I’ve been an active member of NABA and serve as the regional coordinator for BAMNONA. Beyond that, I enjoy planting trees, bird watching, cultivating crops, and hiking.

Growing up in an agricultural family, I’ve had the privilege of living in various states throughout my life, including Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Washington, Michigan, California, and Massachusetts. Additionally, I spent two years away from my family in the US, residing in England, Germany, and Turkey.

I earned my degree in Agricultural and Life Science from the University of Florida. My professional experience includes working with the Fauna and Flora International Organization on collection and investigative studies and reports. Currently, I divide my time between my home in Florida and Alabama.

I’ve created this website to share my love for birds and hope to provide valuable insights and information to visitors like you!

Thank you for stopping by my website!
